About Nefaya
We do not own a single container.
Saudi Arabia already has more than a thousand licensed waste companies with trucks, containers and permits. What it did not have was one number a contractor could call to reach the right one. Nefaya is that number.
The problem
The waste filling the Kingdom's landfills comes off construction sites.
In the first half of 2025, Jeddah's landfills took in five million tonnes. Nearly four fifths of it — 3.9 million tonnes — was construction and demolition debris. Nationally, 18% of waste is diverted from landfill against a target of 90% by 2040. That gap does not close with better recycling plants alone. It closes when the skip leaving a site reliably reaches a company licensed to handle what is in it.
How we are built
A network, not a fleet.
Buying trucks would have made us one more waste company competing with the ones already working. Instead every container on Nefaya belongs to a licensed partner company, and our job is matching, coordination and paperwork — the parts that were failing.
Licensed partners only
Every company on the network holds a licence from the National Center for Waste Management. MWAN's register is public, so this is a fact you can check rather than a promise you have to take.
Matched on coverage, not on who answers
We route by which partner actually covers your district and has the size free, so the container arrives instead of being promised.
A VAT invoice, every order
ZATCA-compliant e-invoicing is live. One order, one invoice, in a form your accountant already accepts.
One account, every site
Contractors run several sites at once. One account covers all of them, in every city we operate in.
What we do not claim
The things we have not built yet.
A company's about page is where the overstating usually happens. These are the limits of what Nefaya does today, written down so nobody discovers them after they have booked.
We do not yet control what happens after collection
Your load goes to a licensed disposal facility, and we can tell you which. We cannot yet tell you how much of it was recovered, because we do not run the sorting. Reporting that honestly is the next thing we are building, and until it works we describe it as a plan rather than a service.
We do not publish a price list
Prices vary by city, size, waste type and how long you hold the container. Publishing a number we would have to walk back on the call is worse than telling you we quote per job.
We are in three cities, not the Kingdom
Riyadh, Dammam and Khobar are live because we have real partner coverage in them. We would rather cover three cities properly than colour a map.
Where we are
Early, and saying so.
The partner portal is live and in daily use, and the customer and driver apps are both on the App Store and Google Play. 46 of the first hundred founding partner places are still open, and that counter is edited by hand — it is a real number, not a widget counting down to create urgency.
